Make this basic soup, then customize with chopped, cooked chicken or turkey, frozen thawed peas, small cooked pasta, cooked rice, sliced mushrooms, etc.

Ingredients
1/4 cup margarine OR butter
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons Argo® Corn Starch
1-1/2 cups chicken broth
1-1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Directions

Sauté onion and celery in butter in a medium saucepan, over medium heat, about 1 minute or until tender.

Stir in corn starch until smooth. Add chicken broth and milk. Whisk continuously until mixture boils. Boil for 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper.
