Add the sugar and corn starch to a saucepan and whisk to
combine. Add the corn syrup, milk, lemon juice and lemon zest. Cook
on medium heat stirring occasionally until it’s reached a boil. When
thickened, remove from the heat and stir in the butter until melted.
Makes 3 cups.
Note: Can add yellow food coloring at the end for a
brighter yellow color.
