DIY Bath Bombs

Makes 8- 2.5” balls or 4- 3” balls

Ingredients
1 cup Argo® Corn Starch
1 cup citric acid
1 ½ cups baking soda
1 ½ cups Epson salt
6 tablespoons Mazola® Canola Oil
1-2 tablespoons water (in a spray bottle)
20 drops Lavender essential oil, or your favourite scent
Food coloring (optional)
Dried flowers (optional)

Equipment:
a mixing bowl
Spherical molds (various sizes) or silicone ice cube trays or a muffin pan
Directions

In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients together. Gradually mix in the oil, massaging with hands to thoroughly blend. Add the essential oils and continue mixing.   Using a spray bottle with water, lightly spritz the mixture and work in the water using just enough until it holds it shape when you squeeze a handful.

If using food colouring, divide the mixture between four bowls add three drops of food colouring to each bowl mixing well. You can also add in various dried flowers at this time if desired.

Using the spherical molds fill each side overflowing. Press both halves together and squeeze tightly. Release bath bomb from mold. Place on a tray and allow to dry overnight. If using a silicone mold or muffin tray along bath bombs to dry in the molds for a couple days before removing.

**TIP** Recipe can easily be doubled or cut in half.

**Be careful when exiting your tub, the oil can make the surface slippery**
